Research Story—The impactful teaching of a NUSRI-CQ, Modern Logistics center’s Professor

Former Executive MBA NUS student Zhang Feng recently described how a NUS decision science course given by Professor Wu Yaozhong, one of the PIs of the NUSRI-CQ, Modern Logistics center has become instrumental in his current professional and personal life to avoid unconscious decision-making traps.

“2年前，有幸参加了新加坡国立大学商学院的决策学课程，授课的老师是乌耀中教授。这个课程围绕着人们在判断和决策过程中会出现的不自觉的决策思维方式展开，着重讨论了如何避免自己在思考上的决策陷阱以及使用正确的决策思维方式。尽管2年过去了，我对乌教授的讲解依然记忆犹新，并经常能在自己的学习工作中运用当时所学。所以想重新再一次回顾这一段课程的学习，记录下乌教授讲解的精彩之处。”
